How long does it take to get a quote?
For emergency requests, pros often call within 60 seconds. For standard jobs, you can expect up to 3 competitive quotes within a few hours.
Do I have to hire the first professional that contacts me?
Not at all. You are under no obligation to hire anyone. We recommend waiting to receive 2-3 quotes so you can compare prices and read their reviews on our platform before making a decision.
Can I cancel a job request after posting it?
Yes, you can cancel your request at any time by contacting our support team or logging into your householder dashboard. This stops any further professionals from purchasing your lead.

What happens if a job goes wrong?
Your safety is our priority. While your contract is directly with the tradesperson, our UK-based dispute team is available to help mediate any issues and remove pros who drop below our standards. We recommend always getting a written contract before work begins.
Are reviews from real people?
Yes. We use a triangulated, fraud-resistant review system. Only householders who have actually booked and communicated with a professional through our platform are allowed to leave a verified review.
Is my personal data secure?
Absolutely. Your contact details are hidden from the public directory. They are only shared with a maximum of 3 verified professionals who have explicitly purchased the lead to give you a quote.
How do I report a suspicious professional?
If you feel uncomfortable or spot a red flag, use the 'Report User' button on their profile or contact our Trust & Safety team immediately. We suspend accounts pending investigation.
Do professionals carry ID?
We recommend asking all professionals to present their company ID and relevant trade cards (e.g., Gas Safe ID card) when they arrive at your property for peace of mind.

How does the pricing work for professionals?
We use a pay-as-you-go credit system. You are not locked into any monthly subscriptions. You see the details of a lead (job description and location) for free, and only pay credits to unlock the householder's contact details if you want the job.
What is the No-Waste Refund Policy?
If you purchase a lead and the contact details are completely invalid (e.g., disconnected phone number and bounced email), you can report it within 24 hours. We will investigate and refund your credits if the lead is deemed invalid.
How do I get the 'Safe-Match' badge?
After you sign up, you will be prompted to upload proof of your Public Liability Insurance and any relevant trade certificates (e.g., Gas Safe). Once our team verifies these documents, the badge will appear on your profile.
Is there a limit to how many leads I can buy?
No, you can purchase as many leads as you have credits for. However, each lead is only sold to a maximum of 3 professionals to prevent overwhelming the householder.
Can I filter leads by distance?
Yes. In your Professional Dashboard, you can set your exact service radius (e.g., 15 miles from your postcode), ensuring you only see jobs that are profitable to travel to.
